Naira Marley, who claims to have gone to jail 124 times while he living in the UK, seems to e planning to make prisons in Nigeria his second home.

Someone should tell Naira Marley that Nigeria prison and UK prison are not the same things.

He should have known that by now after being locked up by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for allegedly being an internet fraudster.

Though the matter is still in court, Naira Marley might spend the first month of 2020 in prison if he fails to show up in court over car theft charges levelled against him.

The singer is standing trial over an alleged car theft alongside his two brothers; Idris Fashola, 18; Babatunde Fashola, 24 and Kunle Obere, 22.

The defendants were in court On December 16 on a four-count charge bordering on conspiracy, stealing, assault and obstructing the arrest of Naira Marley.

The musician took to Instagram to defend himself and denied the charges.

"Car theft?? maybe I need to post my Bentley, Porsche or benzo. If u lot like try stain my name from today till tomorrow I will still be the next president and who’s Adeyemi Fashola aka Naira Marley. Another free promo I’m guessing," he tweeted.

It didn't end there as he went on to slam bloggers who did not confirm the truth before writing about car theft.

"Looool I’m still baffled, one bad belle paid bloggers to carry fake news because I’m sure the bloggers didn’t sit down to make that up themselves," he added.

 What is Naira  Marley afraid of?

Its time Burnaboy knocks some sense into Naira Marley’s head.

Burna boy used to be the patron for controversy in the music industry until he made some wise decisions, and now he is nominated for two Grammy awards.

Between 2015 and 2017, Burnaboy was drenched in controversy.

In the past Burnaboy has been arrested for masterminding a robbery attack on fellow musician Mr 2Kay at Eko Hotels & Suites.

Before he moved back to Nigeria and signed to Aristokrat records, Burna Boy went to jail for stabbing someone in London.

Burnaboy has never hidden his dislike for bloggers and pastors and has has been in a fistfight with Zimbabwean dancehall star, Buffalo Souljah in South Africa.

A week after renewing his contract with telecommunications giant, GLO, Burnaboy posted pictures of himself carrying a gun on Instagram, thereby disregarding the implications of his actions on his brand and the telecoms company.

Burnaboy in 2018 will announce that he will no longer be managing his social media pages himself and decided to dedicate more time to creating music, and making a conscious effort of making a positive impact through his brand and music in society.

So, even if if Naira Marley never gets nominated for a Grammy Award, at least staying out of trouble will help him focus on his career, except for if it is the controversy that is fueling his lyrics, then there is a big problem.

Hopefully, it would not negatively affect him in the long run.
